This afternoon at 16:14:09 our Leuven datacenter experienced a grid power failure. UPS systems took over the load instantly without any impact on the IT load.
Generators started up shortly after and powered the full site throughout the outage. At 16:20:39 grid power was restored and all systems failed back smoothly to normal power supply.
Our Zaventem datacenter was not impacted by this event.
The full failover sequence operated exactly as designed and no customers experienced any service impact. Everything is back to normal operations, and we continue to monitor the situation closely.
